Spearit Kevlar(R) Constrictor Cords are the product of decades of experience tying tens of thousand of speargun bands. Kevlar is the perfect fiber for constrictor cord because of its high tensile strength, very low stretch and good knot holding properties.
Choose the braid size best for you. Our original 1.0mm cord is the experienced spearo’s choice for bands up to 5/8in(16mm) in diameter. Our heavy duty 1.7mm cord is recommended for thicker rubber and is great for beginners where the extra strength insures complete tightening of a less than perfect constrictor knot.
