Our custom US made Slings are an exclusive AmmoGarand offering and are the best and most accurate rendition of the original Web Sling used from WWII through Vietnam. The Black Cotton began use in Vietnam and continued in service with the USMC being the last to still use for their Marksmanship value. (3d Inf Old Guard uses our slings currently for training so you know they are good and we’re proud to supply them!!)

produced to original Specs with late Black cotton web. All sling metal is PARKERIZED to the original MIL SPEC and NOT the shiny black or mixed metal colors found on all the repro’s!! Sling tab is only “shiny” part of sling and are actually the same part used on USGI slings since WWII as same company supplies us to this day!!

–  Patterned after the USGI 1940’s – Vietnam Era web sling

–  Top quality Black Cotton Web,
proper Vietnam and later issue color. Our webbing is to proper dimension so not too thick or wide to hamper use like with other repros.  This also means you
WON’T
have to
wash or “break in”
the canvas.
–  Keeper Buckles lock tight so
NO
slipping of web when closed and they release easily for quick adjustments.
–  Hardware is Parkerized to the original MIL SPEC (ALL three pieces vs some grey, some black like other repros). End tab is the only black metal on these and that is as the original were finished as ours come from the very same USGI supplier.
–  Slings are approx. 1-1/4″ wide by 48″ (45″ max fully extended from Sling hook to keeper loop)
–  These will fit most all commercial rifles and shotguns with
1- 1/4″ wide swivels.
–  Slings can be used for Appleseed Liberty Rifle and 10/22 Training use (requires 1-1/4″ swivels).
